For the first time in forever, there’s no Thursday-night Tang Soo Do class on the calendar.
The dojang is closed for Thanksgiving, and tomorrow (Black Friday) is a holiday too. So instead of lining up, bowing in, and doing a million jumping jacks…
We ate Brisket!
Celebrated Thanksgiving, took some much needed rest and
We laughed until our sides hurt.
My legs are actually grateful for the break (they’ve been yelling at me since last Friday’s black-belt prep class 😂).
But mostly I’m just thankful.
Thankful for a loud, chaotic, Jesus-loving family that chooses to sweat together three nights a week…
and thankful for the rare nights we get to just be together with no schedule at all.
We’ll be back on the mats soon enough.
Tonight, we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.
Happy Thanksgiving from our slightly sore, very full, ridiculously blessed family to yours. 🦃💙
Tang Soo… from the couch, in stretchy pants. 🥋🛋️
Hope your day was filled with good food and even better people. See you on the mats next week! 💙
